The College of Education, the International Association for the Development of the Information Society (IADIS) and Curtin University of Australia, is holding a three-day conference in the Chueh-sheng International Conference Hall to present 50 dissertations from 23 countries including America, Australia, Japan, India, Mainland China and many more. Dean of the College of Education, Dian-fu Chang, stated, “IADIS regularly holds academic events, inviting educators from different countries to share their experience. It proves to have a strong positive influence in the world of education, especially in regards to educational technology.”
This year’s conference will take place from December 10th until the 12th and will include three different events: The 2nd International Conference on Educational Technologies, The 5th International Conference on Educational Technologies and Society and the 3rd International Conference on Sustainability, Technology and Education. Dian-fu Chang expressed, “This three-day exchange will cover issues of Educational Technology, Internet Social Media and Sustained Educational Development.”
Special guest speakers include Professor of the City University of Macau, Pedro Isaias, who will speak on Empathy, Empathic Information Systems and New directions for Learning, Professor from Taiwan National University’s Education Center, Jun-yan Zhang, who will speak on the Cloud classroom: The Next Generation and Director of the Department of Educational Technology, David Tawei Ku, who will speak on, "From Slate to Tablet: The development of New Media for Learning in Taiwan."
