The Annual FFA Second Hand Charity Sale

For the past 4 days (Nov. 10,11,12,13), the Female Faculty Association (FFA) held the, “Your Old Favorites are My New Love - Second Hand Charity Sale,” in the Black Swan Exhibition Hall. Share the news one your phone, Line, or your preferred social group. Most of the hot products will not be around long. 3000 items of second hand clothing have already been sold. Everyone is welcome to participate and all of the earnings will be donated to charities for the unfortunate and disabled.

Head of FFA and Director of the Office of Physical Education, Shu-feng Hsiao, expressed, “The FFA usually spends their time dealing with high quality clothing, which makes for very nice second hand products with the latest styles. Lots of the clothing is also suitable to many different styles of wear. I’m especially grateful to the FFA for their contribution of this charity event.” Shu-feng Hsiao mentioned that it is her wish that more people outside of campus would come together to raise money for charity as well. In the past they’ve made more than 500,000 NT dollars, which has helped to make significant developments in charity organizations in Taiwan. She added, “If we all came together in our efforts, this could become a very significant time for us.”

This year’s second hand charity sale contains clothing, shoes, purses, everyday accessories, stationery products, books and more. Most of the items range from 50 to 500 NT and all of the products are going fast. There are even big name items such as Chanel. Fourth-year student of the Department of Chinese, Tong Ke, stated, “Every year I look forward to participating in this event. Today I saw a dad find some toys for his kids...it was really touching.”
