To usher in the TKU 66th anniversary and help create a truly global college environment, the Carrie Chang Fine Arts Center, located on the Tamsui Campus, recently held a special event named the Carrie Chang International Art Exhibition. Guests from various countries came to view the artwork on display, including staff from TKU's sister universities in Mexico, as well as Taiwanese diplomats to El Salvador, Guatemala, Panama, and Nicaragua. Among the dignitaries to visit the display were also previous directors of the Carrie Chang Fine Arts Center, and 76 local and international artists, including some from Japan, South Korea, Canada, and America.

The display comprised 79 works of art of various styles, including oil paintings, watercolors, pastels, prints, and colored ink. The artwork showcased a diversity of nationalities, religions, environments, and ethnicities. On Nov 9, the Center held its opening ceremony, at which the President of TKU, Dr Flora Chia-I Chang, delivered an opening speech in front of numerous distinguished guests.
