The Asia Leadership Roundtable 2017

From July 6-7, the TKU Graduate Institute of Educational Policy and Leadership and the Hong Kong Institute of Education held the Asia Leadership Roundtable 2017 (ALR) at the Chueh-sheng International Conference Hall, Tamsui Campus.

Present at the event were over 70 prominent educators from various countries and regions, including Taiwan, Mainland China, Hong Kong, Australia, New Zealand, America, England, Germany, Switzerland, Norway, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, India, Vietnam, Israel, South Africa, and Chile. Also in attendance was the President of TKU, Dr. Flora Chia-I Chang, who provided opening remarks.

The Dean of the Graduate Institute of Educational Policy and Leadership, Ya-Tsz Hsueh, noted that the Roundtable has been held each year since 2010 at countries and regions around the world. It represents a forum for discussion on how to expand and enhance the corpus of knowledge surrounding Asian educational leadership. Tamkang University was granted the opportunity to organize and host the 2017 Roundtable event, which took the theme "Seven years on: the state of the Asian knowledge base."
