As part of the University Social Responsibility (USR) project, launched by the Ministry of Education (MOE), TKU faculty and students have worked together to care for the community, strengthen local cooperation, and assist in solving regional problems. Through such efforts, TKU continues to realize its educational vision.

On June 17, 2019, the University Social Responsibility (USR) Office held a USR Cross-Disciplinary Seminar, allowing participating teachers to share their experiences in the USR program through interaction and exchange, and thus encourage other faculty and students to participate in the project.

The Seminar commenced with an opening address from the Director of the University Social Responsibility (USR) Office, Dr. Chii-Dong Ho, who thanked the teachers for their participation and described the accomplishments achieved by TKU under the program. He also expressed his hope that even more faculty members join the USR program in the future.

Participants were then led on a historical tour of Tamsui by Mr. Wu Chun-yi, a guide from the Tamsui Cultural Resources Promotion Studio.

During the Seminar, certificates of appreciation were issued by TKU to various participants in the program.
