On December 22, Tamkang University held a "kite prayer activity" at the Shao-Mo Memorial Gymnasium. The activity was designed to bring together students, faculty, and staff, who collectively built kites and inscribed in them messages and well wishes for the coming year. The activity began with a kite display last week, which not only exhibited a diverse range of kites, but also offered students information on traffic safety and disaster prevention.

For the Kite Prayer Activity, TKU especially invited well-known kite expert, Feng Can-huang, to provide instruction on assembling and designing kites. Then, at 3:20 pm, students, teachers, and staff headed to the square in front of the Shao-Mo Memorial Natatorium, where they set their kites and well wishes to the sky.
