The TKU End-of-Year Gala

Each year, on the day before the winter holidays officially commence, TKU holds a major "End-of-Year" gala to usher in the holidays and mark the coming Chinese New Year. This year, the gala festivities were organized by the Office of Student Affairs.

Gala activities included a raffle in which students and staff had the chance to win up to NT $30,000; opening remarks by the President of TKU, Dr. Flora Chia-I Chang; various energy-filled song and dance performances (including a rendition of the "Gangnam" dance) by staff from the Office of Student Affairs; and a breathtaking magic show, in which 4th year Chemistry student and well-known magician, Chu Geng-ching, performed a number of gasp-inducing illusions.
