Lately the weather has been extremely hot and most individuals are unwilling to set foot outside. But should we spend the entire summer indoors basking in the comfort of our air-conditioned rooms? Go out and visit the beautiful campuses of Taipei, Lanyang and Tamsui Campuses to enjoy the wonderful scenery and animal life.
The Palace Lantern Classroom Hallway: Fashioned in the traditional Chinese way with an interior decorated in red glazed tile, creating an exotic uniqueness. The sides of the classrooms are decorated with flowers that change seasonally, completing the magical atmosphere.
Lovers Lane: Behind the Palace Lantern Classrooms is a small quiet walkway just big enough for two. The area is filled with flower pots, stone chairs, and a pavilion. It’s perfect to take a romantic walk in the summertime while listening to the chirping of the cicadas
Green Pasture: A beautiful grass meadow located in front of the post office is perfect to play a musical instrument to pass the time. In past years people have come here to write songs and find inspiration among the relaxing energy. It is also a historic location for holding many spectacular events over the years.
Cultural Recreation Area: This part of campus is smothered in greenery with the sounds of animals greeting visitors from all directions. Every step within this canal is quiet, cozy and relaxing. It’s the perfect place to bring a romantic date.
Foreign Language Building Plaza: In front of the Foreign Language building is a circle of trees with a splendid view that can calm anyone’s nerves. There is oval-shaped spring in front of the building that adds a magical aspect to the atmosphere. Spend the summer absorbing the many different pleasures that TKU campus has to provide. It will surely be more invigorating than staying indoors all day.
