When you turn on your cell phone, there are dozens of tiny screens that appear, assisting you with the apps of your choice. Whether you are using an I-phone, Android, iOS or any modern smartphone, life is made more convenient with apps that can take care of many daily needs from information to a cure for boredom. As a member of TKU, be sure to download the TKU i-life app like thousands of other students who take advantage of this helpful resource daily.
This app was created in 2012 and has already been downloaded 55,288 times. It has been accessed by users a total of 3,515,330 this year and 6,353,718 times since its development. The app has become quite popular not only for its handy informational resources, but also for its entertainment value. This app gives the latest details on all the happenings on campus regarding daily news, recent news, up and coming events, campus phone numbers, library information, videos, bus routes, weather, building projects, and much more. The app comes equipped with a total of 17 different functions for life on campus.
The functions that are most popular include My Schedule, Tamkang Wi-fi and Exam Schedule. It also receives a lot of use from catching the sports events such as volleyball and basketball games. First-year student in the Department of Russian Language, Yu-xiang Sun, stated, “This app has been very useful for helping me get adjusted to life on campus. I can find everything that I am looking for very quickly.” Fourth-year student of the Department of Transportation Management, Zu-jie Lin, stated, “I love this app. It’s made my life on campus so convenient because I can stay up to date with everything on my phone.”
