The EMBA Enrolls 15 New Students

The E-learning Executive Master’s Program of Business Administration (EMBA) has begun the their third year, enrolling 15 new students. The goal of this educational program is to build an academic bridge between Taiwan and Latin America. By giving Taiwanese people an understanding of Latin America and also giving Latin Americans a deeper view of Asia, a new generation of students can be cultivated with a diplomatic world view. The new enrolling students travelled from areas all over Latin America including Guatemala, Honduras, the Dominican Republic, Paraguay, Argentina, Ecuador and Mexico.

On October 9th the 11 second-year students, accompanied the 15 enrolling students to sign up for courses. Also in attendance was Ambassador of Guatemala, Arturo Romeo Duarte Ortiz, Ambassador of the Dominican Republic, Rudolf Clausius, Director of the Mexican Trade Services Documentation and Cultural Office, Juan Manuel Gónzales with Deputy Director Alejandro Ramirez and Secretary of Honduras, José Víctor Lozano. In addition to receiving their courses, the new students also received gifts and souvenirs.

The students were presented with a warm welcome as they took on an abundance of new courses including Pacific Safety Issues, Modern China, Taiwanese Society and Culture, South Eastern Asian Economic Development, North Eastern Asian Economic Development and South Eastern Government and Politics. Second-year student, Espinoza, expressed, “This assembly is always a lot of fun because we get to try lots of different types of food all in the same place. I’m so happy to be a part of something so significant and special.”
