The first Campus Job Expo of the year was held at the TKU Tamsui Campus on April 10 by the Labor Affairs Department, New Taipei City Government. As part of the event, stalls set up by both small and large companies alike adorned ‘Poster Street,’ the main thoroughfare that flanks the University Commons. The President of Tamkang University, Dr. Huan-Chao Keh, explained that "This year is the 11th Campus Job Expo, and today there are over 100 company stalls set up, with recruiters releasing more than 3,000 job openings. In recent years, the number of students participating in the event has also increased. We emphasize the different learning requirements that students have in different phases, and provide them with help as they transition from the campus into the workplace. Graduating students should seize the opportunity to participate [in the Job Expo], with the ideal outcome being that students enter the workforce as soon as they graduate." During the event, President Keh was interviewed by both FTV and Phoenix Television.

The opening ceremony of the Expo was held at 10am, and corporate stalls included those set up by Muji, Nitori (a Japanese furniture retail company), and Lion Travel.
