TKU Athletes Bag a Bevy of Medals in This Year’s Intercollegiate Athletic Games

The closing ceremony of the 2019 National Intercollegiate Athletic Games was held May 1, with the TKU team collecting a total of six gold, two silver, and four bronze medals. The result placed it first among all private universities (excluding sport universities) in Taiwan.

TKU registered for various event categories this year, including fencing, judo, karate, Taekwondo, track and field, tennis, badminton, soft tennis, table tennis, and swimming. And it received medals in seven of these ten categories, for fencing, judo, karate, Taekwondo, track and field, tennis, and badminton.
