TKU Moves Up Global Rankings List

Webometrics Rankings of World Universities (WRWU) conducts an evaluation and then publishes a subsequent ranking of world universities in January and July each year. The results for January 2017 were recently published, and showed a dramatic spike in Tamkang University's ranking across various metrics. TKU's overall global ranking increased from 448 in July 2016 to 394 in Jan 2017. Its ranking among Asian universities ascended from 72 to 34, and among Taiwanese universities (both national and private), advanced from 7th place to 6th. Moreover, TKU maintained its consistent place as the number one ranked private university in Taiwan in the WRWU ranking system. This marks TKU's best performance in the evaluations in the last five years.
