The 18th Department of Information and Communication Graduation Project Exhibition was held at the Black Swan Exhibition Hall, Tamsui Campus, from May 6-10, 2019. Titled ‘6D Platform,’ the exhibition will be relocated to the Songshan Cultural and Creative Park and open to the public from May 24-26.

The opening ceremony of the 6D Platform campus exhibition will be held at midday on May 6, and will be attended by the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Chii-Dong Ho, the Vice President for International Affairs, Dr. Kao-Cheng Wang, the Dean of the College of Liberal Arts, Dr. Chen-Jung Lin, the Chair of the Department of Information and Communication, Dr. Chen Yi-Wen, the Chair of the Department of Chinese Literature, Dr. Chou Te Liang, and the Chair of the Department of Information and Library Science, Dr. James C. Ouyang.

The theme of this year’s exhibition is 6D Platform. Here, the 6D represents the six step process required for “self-reformation,” while the Platform refers to the ‘train platform’ used to carry strangers from all walks of life. The students from the Department of Information and Communication set up the display in the hope that visitors could leave the display with a deeper connection to their better selves.

In his opening address, the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Chii-Dong Ho, noted that a “platform” is not only a place where farewells are uttered, but will hopefully serve as the spark the students need to set out on a new chapter of their lives.
